The University of Auckland, School of Architecture
In your first 3 years you will study a BAS, Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
You need to meet the academic entry criteria to enrol: NCEA, CIE, IB and a Rank Score of your Year 13 school assessment grades. Rank Score for: NCEA 230, CIE 280, IB 31. You also need to submit a visual portfolio of 12-15 images of your creative work and a 1 page written statement.
Once you complete the BAS then you study a 2 year MArch(Prof), Master of Architecture.
Guidelines for preparing a visual portfolio of your creative work include:

Between 12 and 15 pages of your own drawings, design and or other creative works, saved as individual pdf files.

We encourage portfolios that display a range of ability in various techniques and media.

Any page size up to a maximum of A3 to present your work. Each page may consist of either one or multiple images.

Pay attention to the composition of the overall page should you use more than one image.

Keep writing on a page to a minimum.

Submit your portfolio using SlideRoom. Each pdf file may contain only one page.

We encourage descriptions using the SlideRoom function to provide details about each page: title, date of completion, and a short description that can include the technique and media used, why it relates to architecture or your intention for the work.

AUT, School of Future Environments
In your first 3 years you will study a BAFE, Bachelor of Architecture and Future Environments.
You need to meet or exceed the the academic entry criteria to apply: NCEA L3 80 credits, CIE 120, IB 24. Check the detailed entry criteria. There is no visual portfolio requirement to enrol for a BAFE.
Once you complete the BAFE then you study a 2 year MArch(Prof), Master of Architecture

UNITEC, School of Future Environments
In your first 3 years you will study a BAS, Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
You need to meet or exceed the the academic entry criteria to apply: NCEA L3 42 credits, L2 8 credits in English or Te Reo Maori, L1 14 credits in Maths. Check the detailed admission requirements. You also need to complete an interview and present a hardcopy of your visual portfolio.
Once you complete the BAS then you study a 2 year MArch(Prof), Master of Architecture

Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington School of Architecture
In your first 3 years you will study a BAS, Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
You need to meet or exceed the the academic entry criteria to apply: NCEA L3 or CIE or IB. There is no visual portfolio requirement to enrol for a BAS.
Once you complete the BAS then you study a 2 year MArch(Prof), Master of Architecture
